Mr. Thomas Athisayaraj runs a colorectal and General surgery clinic for private (self-paying and insurance) & NHS chose and book pathway at the St Edmunds Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
Mr. Thomas Athisayaraj will take a brief clinical history, do a clinical examination, may ask for further tests if required, and then he will discuss your diagnosis along with treatment options. He will always try and answer any questions you may have regarding your condition and/or treatment to the best of his ability.
The common problems addressed in the private sector are symptomatic hernias(Umbilical, inguinal, epigastric, Ventral, and suitable incisional hernias), uncomplicated gall stones, benign lumps and bumps, Evaluation of bleeding PR, change in bowel habits, benign perianal problems like hemorrhoids, fissures (acute anal pain), and fistulas, and perianal skin tags.
He will carry out the operations and endoscopy at St Edmunds Hospital.
Minor procedures like hemorrhoid banding can be carried out during the initial consultation if required.
The self-pay and insurance patients will receive an invoice for the clinic appointment for the consultation fees
